PROFILE

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Farhadur Reza is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. In 2011, he joined as a Lecturer in the same department. He was awarded the Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship from the Government of Japan in 2018. Afterward, he accomplished his PhD in Urban Design from the Saga University, Japan in 2021. Previously, he obtained Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURP) degree from the Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. 

Dr. Reza published a number of research papers in the peer reviewed international and national journals in the fields of his research interest. His research article entitled “Potential for Recovery of Resources from Food Market Refuse: A Case Study in Dhaka, Bangladesh” published in the International Journal of Environment, Ecology, Family and Urban Studies, 2016 obtained “Best Research Paper” award. Besides, he attended several international research conferences. He is a member of Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP).
